In a determined effort to cut down on the consumption of meat, here is how you stretch approx 300 gms of meat into a dish enough to serve several adults.

After cooking lunch for my kids, I prepared dinner and I made Meat Balls stewed with beancurd sticks, and fried bean curd. I added enoki mushrooms after this picture was taken and garnished with raw ginger strips and fried garlic chips.
Before serving later, I will steam the dish for approx 1 hour to further soften the beancurd and meat balls. There's quite a lot of lovely glossy braising liquid at the bottom and this simple dish will go well chilli oil on plain rice.

Next: Ruby Crystals.
