Today I got all dressed up in my baju kebaya to attend the engagement of Tina & Yadi.

It was held in the Sheraton Utama Hotel. When we arrived, I saw 2 lines of buffet set-up in the lobby and bags and bags of giveaways..... I was early by an hour to give myself plenty of time to take food pics, and do my bid for the Brunei Wedding Blog.

Feast your eyes on the food! A simple but substantial high tea menu.

Tasek Fried Rice (with beef bacon, prawns and eggs)

Darussalam Noodles (fish balls/cakes, eggs, chye sim, chicken & chillies) - This has been a firm favourite in their menu since the 80s.

Tofu Ebiko Pouch (minced fish paste wrapped in bean skin)

Honey Sesame Chicken Wings (Braised chicken wings in sticky sweet sauce with sesame seeds)

Crispy Fish Fingers with Sambal Dip (Battered fish fingers with a spicy garlicky sauce)

Assorted Prawn Canapes

Sliced Cakes and Fresh Fruits
