Fry garlic, shallots and lots of dried shrimp. I used very little oil, and the heat was turned down low. The shrimp mixture was effectively roasted till it was fragrant and the mixture was not oily at all. Turn heat up. Add some peeled prawns.
And sliced fishcake. See - very little oil right?
Add meehoon. Mix well - don't break the strands! Season well with salt and white pepper.
