Weekend meals - Sunday 3rd August 2008

Ribeye steaks for everyone with choice of long roasted potatoes or boiled/quick roasted potatoes, sauteed French beans & sauteed baby bokchoy with balsamic vinegar, garlic & olive oil.
This is PT's plate - Dom, we all thought of you when we ate our lovely tender, perfectly timed steaks.
Potatoes:
Boil baby potatoes (skin on), drain and add garlic, rosemary, salt & black pepper. Roast till skin is crunchy and potatoes sweet & tender. (Middle pic shows potatoes at half time; and right pic shows potatoes at full time).

And the steaks sizzzzling away on the pans. 4 steaks for me and my brood.

And PT & Wm's steaks - they were huge!
Those who like looking at food might like another close-up parting shot. A very pleasing bottle of Shiraz accompanied the adults' meal. We ate in the kitchen no frills style, spoons sticking into mustard jars, passing vegs from adults' to children's table and oily fingers on wine glasses. Perfect.
