Remember my braised soya sauce chicken? Well this was how it turned out to be. Pretty good, sweet, salty, gingery, garlicky. And the meat wasn't tough. Kids loved the gravy over their rice.
Here it is before I poured the lovely sauce over it.
I also fried 4 bunches of kangkong with dried shrimp, garlic, shallots, chillies and belachan.
And we also had a chicken soup with vegetables.
And after dinner it was time to open for mooncakes and hot green tea. (Next post)

And also some roast pork which Mum bought from one of the restaurants in HK airport.
Great quality stuff, tasty moist meat & crispy skin.
