I'm always on the search for a good nasi lemak and this one scores a 7 out of 10 for me. The rice was particularly good, very lemak and coconutty and hot (as in temperature), the fried chicken was freshly fried (it was piping hot and juicy inside), the egg too.
If the sambal had been spicier and the ikan billis crispier and the peanuts had a tiny sprinkle of salt on them, it would have scored a perfect 10.
Use freshly fried shallots (instead of readymade) and I would have scored it 10/10 star!
I've been back twice. On my own.
Does anyone where to get good nasi lemak?
