Tonight we celebrated the Chinese festival of dongzhi.
We had another simple meal of chicken rice (made from corn fed free range chicken), ginger sauce, satay, 2 types of vegetables and a melon and mushroom soup.
Ginger/spring onion sauce - so yummy over plain steamed chicken.

For dessert we had red bean with tangyuan which we bought frozen from the supermarket. It had a sweet black sesame filling which I like. Some wine too and lots of conversation.

We've put up the tree and here it is - Season's Greetings to all - I will be away for a few days but will be back just on time for our annual New Year's Eve BBQ. More of last year's BBQ here.
