For the quality of their food and fresh airflown ingredients, and for their gorgeous surroundings and romantic ambience of the restaurant, with attentive service from Alan and his team, it's worth every cent.
Here is the menu. Almost every item is cooked from scratch and put together immaculately and personally inspected by Chef before it is presented to the guest/s. All their stocks are made inhouse from meat or fish and carefully reduced to form glossy thick tasty flavour PACKED sauces...... And if you order a risotto, they have wonderful meat or fish broths to give extra flavour, with butter and cheese to form a delicious creamy dish.
Upon sitting and studying your menu, you are offered delicious homebaked bread, with a tomato dip and olive oil and a chunk of parmigiano reggiano.
p.s I start at 2 pm today so I have a bit of time to catch up with posts but I'm going in at 12 - I just want to sit and study the menu, soak in the atmosphere of their lovely CLEAN kitchens and chillers, and take more pictures of the helpful & friendly people I met in the last 3 days.
More to come! Stay tuned to Foodie Tales.

Y'know I've NEVER eaten here but I'd love to! Good to see the vegetarian options are priced lower than the meat ones - too many restaurants price them EXACTLY THE SAME which is absolute bull!
Using squid ink, now that's an interesting concept. I think you posted about it before but it didn't warrant a comment just to say 'hmmm interesting ingredient' haha :P
Fun fact - Alan is Val's brother :) Oh embrace the small-worldness that is Brunei!
*Runs off singing 'It's a Small World After All'*
We'll go the next time you're back - food's very good and well priced - and Alan is Val's brother? haha - small world! ee
