Kuching Laksa

My breakfast this morning; at approx 7.20 am, in the office safely out of the rain, this laksa went into the microwave for 2 minutes and was eaten steamy pipey hot.

Don't forget to place a tea towel over your work jacket!

p.s From a non-halal coffee shop.

I absolutely adore Laksa Sarawak, I think it's hands down the best hot dish ever (with the sambal of course). I'm thinking it's the same as the Kuching laksa you featured here..? There's this laksa paste product by "Liza" that's simply over the roof, by the way; for home-made ones.

I think Kuching Laksa is the same as Laksa Sarawak... thin light but flavourful coconut gravy; and the sambal belachan with lime is an absolute must. There is another paste available from the supermarkets - can't recall the name but it has a pic of some swallows on it... I find that delicious. Will look out for Liza's next time I'm in the shops. BTW, the new site is looking good, Nikkita.
