Tues, 17th Apr 2007

Our favourite Teochew restaurant - a little eatery located about 5 mins from Mum's flat, this place is always packed at all hours.

In the day, they sell fish paste in every shape/size, fish/beef/squid/balls and beef tripe/brisket, etc with flat rice noodles.
On our first visit, I had 2 types of fish paste with seaweed and rice noodles.

Mum had fried fish paste and fish cake

J had fish, beef & squid balls.

KF had beef brisket & tripe with noodles.

In the evenings,
in addition to noodles described above, they also serve many Teochew style dishes such as this one; braised goose.

Sliced goose breast served with soy sauce bean curd and peanuts (hidden under meat):

On our second visit, I had the same, and J had beef & fish balls & beef brisket with noodles and the braised goose again.
