Cakes

Here is an almond puff pastry which I brought back from HK, lovely buttery (but not oily) layers of puff pastry with almonds. It's really good with coffee or tea. I bought a packet from Maxim's at the airport and hand carried it all the way back home.

This is a coconut tart, which I have loved since I was a kid, also from Maxim's.

There is a Maxim's conveniently located in almost every train station in HK. We picked up a box before Sunday's visit.
