Chicken Wine with Ginger

Hello Lynn

Here is an old recipe from my archives. I used sweet rice wine which I buy from the neighbouring states.

It will be wonderful for a cold evening!

Thanks for the link, I'll try to make it tomorrow & I'll let you know how it goes. I've to use sake, can't get any sweet rice wine in Canada I think.....=D

Hi E,
Tried the wine chicken twice so far, today I made it again but with more (lots more)wine and ginger juice. It was GOOD. mmmm felt so warm after eating it. My friends tried it too & asked for recipe. =D

Hello Lynn - I like it with lots of ginger too (grate ginger, add warm water and squeeze the ginger juices out to add to chicken) and wine; so it turns into an almost chicken wine soup - if you fry an egg with a little oil and pour the chicken wine over it, this is lovely too! E.
p.s Would love it if you could send me a pic so I could put it up here too :-)
